Established in 2021, the society’s founding members sought to break down the long-standing barriers surrounding finance.

When the founding members stepped foot on campus, they quickly realised that having connections or prior background in the industry was needed to gain access to most finance societies. Eager and talented students did not have access to many of the resources and education they needed to succeed.

So alongside the launch of our society in 2021, we debuted the Finance Bootcamp that was open for all members and non-members to attend. The Bootcamp soon became a signature event that helped members build their experience and knowledge in finance. That was only the beginning to our journey in widening access to finance, the core ethos of our society.
