Ryan Karimpanal

President

Ryan is currently a 3rd year student studying BSc Economics. As President, he oversees all team functions and sets out the strategic vision for the society’s future direction. He was most recently a summer investment analyst at the top-tier hedge fund, Millennium Management. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and worked as a chef before.

Lia Lee

Director & Welfare Officer

Lia is currently a 2nd year student studying BSc Physics. As Director, she manages several functions of the society and most specifically led our flagship Finance Bootcamp course. She has previously worked at two hedge funds, Verition and Millennium Management, as summer investment analyst. In her free time, she enjoys crossfit and playing the piano.

Anthony Khoo

Director & Treasurer

Tony is a 3rd year student studying BA History, Politics, and Economics. As Director & Treasurer, he manages several team functions and specifically the overall financial management of the society. He will be interning this summer in the Private Equity & Absolute Returns team at Partners Capital. In his free time, he enjoys training Muay Thai and basketball.

Eugene Cheung

Director of Operations

Eugene is a 2nd year student studying BA History, Politics, and Economics. The Director of Operations, he manages and supports the day to day activities of the society. He previously interned at a B2B retail technology start-up in Hong Kong. In his free time, he enjoys cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and running at Regent’s Park.

Chloe Zhang

Co-Head of Partnerships

Chloe is currently a 2nd year student studying BSc Economics. As the Co-Head of Partnerships, she is responsible for developing and managing relationships with our sponsor firms. She will be joining Goldman Sachs as summer analyst later this year in their FICC and Equities division. Originally from China, she has also lived in Slovenia for 3 years before coming to the UK.

Elyse Toh

Co-Head of Partnerships

Elyse is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. As Co-Head of Partnerships, she is responsible for reaching out to our sponsor firms. She was previously a legal and politics intern in Malaysia. In her free time, she enjoys working on handcrafted projects and watching films directed by Wong Kar Wai.

Nigel Leong

Co-Head of Events

Nigel is currently a 3rd year student studying BSc Economics and Statistics. As Co-Head of Events, he is responsible for organising our speaker events. He has previously interned at C. Hoare & Co. a private bank based in London and RHL Ventures which is a VC firm focused on the TMT sector. In his free time, Nigel enjoys working out and previously worked as a trainer and physiotherapist.

Eamon Leung

Head of Marketing

Eamon is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Economics. As Head of Marketing, he creates designs and manages the society’s communications through various social media channels. He was previously a marketing intern at Häglofs and business intelligence intern at HKTVmall. In his free time, he enjoys competing in orienteering and playing mahjong.

Allegra Negri

First Year Representative & Investment Analyst

Allegra is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Economics. As FYR, she has worked and managed relationships with our guest speakers. She has received offers to attend spring weeks at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Nomura. In her free time, she enjoys kick-boxing and working towards getting her sailing instructor license.

Jake Tullis

First Year Rep & Investment Analyst

Jake is currently a 1st year student studying BA History, Politics, and Economics. As FYR, he has helped organise speaker events and research for the weekly macro updates for the investment fund. This past summer, he interned at AngelHub, a start-up platform in Hong Kong conducting market research. In his free time, he enjoys playing football and practicing Muay Thai.

Ekaterina Linde

First Year Representative & Investment Analyst

Ekaterina is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Economics. As FYR, she has supported several functions of the society and most recently organising several of the social events. She has received offers to attend spring weeks at Bank of America and Maven Securities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis & volleyball, and working towards a bartending certificate.

Ryan Lim

First Year Representative & Investment Analyst

Ryan is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Economics. As Investment Analyst, he has worked on weekly macro updates for the investment fund. He has past internship experience at CGS-CIMB Securities and Top Global Ltd. working on research. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and ultimate frisbee.

Beatriz Silva

First Year Representative & Investment Analyst

Beatriz is currently a 1st year student studying BSc Economics. As a FYR, she has helped organise social and speaker events. She has spring week offers from Evercore and Macquarie. Originally from Portugal, she has previously lived in Madrid, New Jersey, Brussels, and Copenhagen before studying here in London.
